OEM EARBUD MANUFACTURING

Build a branded earbud program on a screened product platform.

OEM manufacturing is the released configuration of an available product architecture. The work begins with model screening and ends with an approved product, packaging set and production baseline.

Generic TWS earbud platform samples, color options, packaging and accessories reviewed for an OEM manufacturing program
Visual context supports the workflow explanation; project evidence remains model-, supplier- and configuration-specific.
MANUFACTURING SCOPE

Define the route from the actual change request.

The platform must first meet the application, channel, target price and required date. Branding does not correct a poor product fit, so product qualification comes before artwork release.

Request a route review
GOOD FIT

This route is suitable when:

  • Core form factor and electronics already suit the program
  • Differentiation is concentrated in logo, CMF, packaging and accessories
  • Supported firmware or acoustic options are sufficient
  • Schedule and tooling exposure favor an existing architecture
REVIEW ANOTHER ROUTE

Additional qualification is needed when:

  • New housing geometry or charging-case structure is mandatory
  • PCBA, antenna or power architecture must change
  • New app, OTA or unsupported control behavior is required
  • A new acoustic architecture is part of the product concept
ENGINEERING WORKSTREAMS

Each workstream ends with a reviewable output.

Files and validation activities are agreed for the selected product, development depth and destination market.
